Short Course Classic Information

 

The Short Course Classic is held every year on the June long weekend at Geraldton Aquarena in the inside 25m pool.

 

How to register

 

This meet is open to all competitive swimmers, registered with Swimming WA aged 7 and over.  To register for this event please click here.

Event information

 

All events are timed finals, and there will also be an opportunity to register for our two “Dash for Cash’ handicap events if you compete in the 50m and/or 100m freestyle events.

 

 

How to get to the Aquarena

 

The Aquarena is easy to find from the North West Costal Highway.  Turn on to 8th street (next to Highway Autobarn) go to the roundabout and turn right.  The Aquarena will be approx 100 m up on the left.

 

Friday night training

 

If you wish to come and get a feel for the pool on Friday night or have a training session, the pool will be open until 7 pm.  If you are bringing a squad to train please contact the Aquarena on 99566906 so that they can allocate you lane space.   Café Aquarena will also be open later on this evening if you wish to purchase a meet to take away or dine in.  There will be a selection of pasta dishes and other meals available.

 

Aquarena entry prices are as follows:

Adult Swimmer: $6.50

Child swimmer: $5.00

Spectators and coaches are free.
